Fast food delivery in Mauritius: McDonald's, KFC and the local heroes
The craving is universal, the answer is local
Some evenings only fast food will do: a stacked burger, crispy chicken, a mountain of fries, eaten on the couch with zero regrets. In Mauritius that craving has more delivery answers than most people think, between the big chains’ own channels and a local scene of burger and chicken kitchens that deliver hot through the food delivery zones of the island.
Here is the honest map of who delivers what, so you can stop refreshing and start eating.
Can you get McDonald’s delivered in Mauritius?
Yes: McDonald’s delivers in Mauritius through its own McDelivery service, ordered on its official website or app, and it is not available on OnlyEat or on any other third-party app. Alongside that, the brand keeps its restaurants for drive and dine-in. If it is a McFlurry kind of night, that is the official road.
McDonald’s is not on OnlyEat today, so we will not pretend otherwise. If that ever changes, this page will be the first to say so.
What about KFC delivery?
Yes: KFC delivers in Mauritius through its own website and its network of restaurants across the island, and, same transparency, KFC is not on OnlyEat today either. But who knows, maybe soon… we are keeping a seat warm in the app.
The local fast food that delivers right now
Here is what we do bring to your door, and honestly, it is the part we are proudest of: Mauritian kitchens doing fast food with real hands. Crafted smash burgers, crispy chicken burgers, loaded fries, kebabs and boulettes, cooked to order and delivered hot, with live customer ratings so you know exactly where you are ordering from.
Start with the best burgers in Rose Hill if you are around the centre, or open the app and browse the fast food category in your own zone: the west, the north and the centre are covered, and the list grows as new kitchens come online.
Two taps and it is on its way:
- Pick your zone and browse the fast food kitchens that really deliver to you.
- Order in the app, pay by card or Juice, and track your rider live to your door.
Download the OnlyEat app and your next burger is minutes away.
